George, who leads Old Weave Rug Care, didn’t stumble into the rug business through a series of fortunate events. His interest in rugs developed out of his fascination with the craftsmanship behind these rugs. Each rug contains elements of craftsmanship that take months to create and require skill from craftspersons who have trained over many years within their families to produce these masterpieces.
That fascination has developed into deep expertise over the years. Each member of our team has dedicated years to learning about rugs – their fibers, dyes, weaving processes, and the differences between antique and modern rugs. We didn’t want to be another rug cleaning company. We wanted to be the expert company that rug collectors, interior designers, and homeowners can trust with their most prized rugs.
